A park in Santiago took a million views, Shenzhen finished a whole tournament season nobody outside it was counting, Berlin got the calendar's first European date in a month, and a venue in Bacolod City grew 23 percent in a week. Monday the 17th to Sunday the 23rd. Here it is.

@codefingerboards opened the Nuevo Cloakapark in Providencia, Santiago de Chile on Wednesday, built with @cloakafb, and posted the session. It took 59,078 likes and 1,080,364 views. For scale: the next biggest fingerboard post of the week managed 3,758, and the whole of Nº 2 topped out at 2,422. This one is fifteen times the week's runner up. The shop picked up 565 followers behind it, 13,156 to 13,721, the largest absolute gain on the watchlist. A Chilean shop that has been making boards by hand since 2019 built a park, filmed one session in it, and out-reached every brand in the index put together.

Scene report

Shenzhen ran a season. SZFT 2026 finished on the 20th, and it was not a jam. @guaiguaichai posted a regular season, a final week, a final game, and separate team, individual and beginner divisions, from 23 July straight through to the 20th. The index counts 57 confirmed accounts across China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and this is the first documented tournament among them.
Bacolod is climbing. @createornothing went 869 to 1,069 followers in a week, up 23 percent, the second biggest move on the watchlist. The Art District venue also restocked CON Hex Trucks and put on an evening with Ram Martinez.
Two more parks for Japan. @uag_f.b announced two new fingerboard parks incoming, and is taking a booth to Highest Mountain 2026 today.
Five years of wheels. @dudeguy.fb marked the company's fifth anniversary by getting most of the team together for an edit, one favourite clip each. He also went out to the L.A.F.B. Park DIY after Shreddermania and credited everyone who maintains it.
New York turned one. @popupparksnyc celebrated a year, and @fbkingston's tenth birthday, with a session and thirteen accounts from the index in the frame.
Independent, everywhere. @independenttrucks was referenced by 35 confirmed accounts this window, more than any other name outside fingerboarding itself.

On the airwaves

@jakepfb taught his girlfriend to fingerboard and put the whole thing on YouTube, which took 722 likes, the biggest media post of the week. @dudeguy.fb cut the five year team edit. @blackriver_official went back to Fingerboard Con Boston 2026 for a day one retrospective. @dumpsterwillie_fb released Shop Shesh Home Movies Vol. 1 out of the @skate.618 Friday sessions, featuring @slushiefingers, @timmy_tim.tim, @bigwhitebilyeu and @i.need.wax. @bode_obs put out two Jeunje Sessies episodes, one in the Netherlands and one titled Antwerp Is For Parking Cars. @d2skatepodcast closed an edition of La BESTIA del Podcast thanking @boardcorks.
